Title: Ozzy's new song
Post by: rbcp on May 24, 2007, 08:23:08 PM
As far as I know, Ozzy Osbourne hasn't done anything in the past 10 years.  He's been too busy being a TV star.  The last song I remember by him was "I Just Want You" which came out in 1997ish.  That was a great song.  Before that, I think it was his 1991-1992 hits like "Mama I'm Coming Home" and "No More Tears."  In my opinion, half of Ozzy's best stuff came from the 90's.  But you can't forget his great 80's stuff like Crazy Train and Goodbye To Romance.

So the past few weeks they've been playing the hell out of his new song on the radio, called I Don't Wanna Stop.  And I kind of wish they'd quit it.  It sounds like a bad 80's song that was never a hit.  It's boring and it's only getting play because it's Ozzy.  Click here to listen to it. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4BnxL3df2Y)  Does anyone here like it?  I don't expect it to last long and I really hope he doesn't make any more attempts at a comeback.

words do not describe my contempt for Ozzy Osbourne. His attempt to stay in the music industry is but one kernel of corn in the giant hunk of shit that is his life among the MTV generation.

Kurt Cobain was the only guy who ever got it right.  Can you imagine how much he'd suck today if he were still alive?

They may as well put that on the cover of Kurt Cobain's next auto-biographical book of nonsense and drug-induced ramblings.

That's another topic all together, though.

He means the posthumously published journal of Cobain's ramblings that was put out a while ago.

Thank you, Tachyon. There have actually been more than one, if I'm not mistaken. Courtney Love can't just survive on her own stillborne music career and the royalty checks still rolling in from Nirvana's vast career. She has to take every scrap of paper Kurt ever wrote on and throw the shit together like seeing what he scribbled about the Moxies while he was high is going to give some needed insight to the man.

Personally, I could do without any more insight. This shit just serves to elevate some fagged-out junkie to a god-like status.
