Vixta is a Fedora-based Linux distribution designed to feel and look like Vista.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but why would i want Linux to look and feel like Windows?

It's for people who are new to Linux and used to Vista. Or people who would rather use Linux but really like Vista. Also it's much faster than Vista :P.

a whole kernel?  who needs a whole kernel?  i don't even want part of a kernel...i hate popcorn, so any kernel would just go to waste anyway!  :P

If  a few people switch to linux from vista because of this os I think it is great.

fair enough...i must agree with you there.  it won't lure the hardcore windows haters or linux nerds, but it may entice a few people away who are curious, or who get a bit frustrated with vista.

agreed.  If it looks as pretty as Vista and is not a resource hog like Vista, then so be it. And fuck you Mr_Doc. You're just Murdoc without the Mur and sex appeal.
