WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) - October 18, 2011 (WPVI) -- Where do pay phones go to die?
The basement of Interwest Communications in Washington state.
The company is a leading pay phone vendor in the region.
But now there are rows of the dented and damaged phones in the company's cellar.
The pay phone is a dying technology, pushed aside pay cell phones.
Company officials tell a local paper pay phones just don't make enough money for many of their customers.
