We have two connections because our modem boosts bandwidth going to the computer by using a Firewire/Ethernet combination. XP treats them like two separate connections.

Quick Launch:

One for Outlook and one for IE (My family uses that, I'm an FF/Gmail kinda guy myself).

Frostwire (hafta download music)

Spybot Search and Destroy

Quicktime (it's not on there, but the icon still is, weird...)

Realplayer (Amazon requires this for demos)

Show Desktop

Winamp

Media Player (WAVs/MP4 play better in that)

Some weird link to an invalid Yahoo News article? 0_o

Why does everybody rave about the eee PC? Yeah, it's really small. Cool. Now what the hell can you do with it? It can't even run ZSNES right, something my old PC's AMD K62 330MHZ had NO trouble doing.

i love it because it's so light and portable...i can take it anywhere in my purse, go online, read my mail, ssh into my other computer and play on it from there...it takes my computer addiction to a whole new level.

I don't have one, my friend does, and it must be ass, cuz it SUCKS for ZSNES. Good thing they're so hot though, he's going to put it on ebay, and he may split the cash with me! ^____^

His first problem was probably installing Windows.

I'm cool because I bump topics to make snappy comebacks to banned members! BOW TO ME!

Seriously, though. Trev, I'm happy that you're getting into Solaris. I just finished my VSP for VMWare, and after that I have to take a bunch of Sun sales certification tests. I mean, selling the stuff is nowhere near as fun as working with it, but for that bright moment in time, we're locked as one.

Edit; Also, sorry about bailing on the bike. I ended up getting an older Trek road bike and fixing it up.

Super sweet. I enjoy Sun hardware because of the profit margin superiority of the equipment. When I was working as a grunt at a medical diagnostics equipment company, they had an old Sun computer, and it was friggin awesome.
