I don't see his number on the Google listing. Has it been fixed?

The video shows the number at 1:01, though. I'd think the news would try to obscure it, but I guess not.

Maybe he should take this as an opportunity to do some pranking himself.

For example, if people call asking where court room 5 is, he can give them oddball explanations. Stuff like,
"That room is closed due group of people defecating on the floor."
"You lost the case and the court is adjourned."
"ibaibaibaibaibaibaibaiba"

Well you get the idea.

Most of you probably know already, but on this week's Phone Show we called this guy and he wasn't happy about it.  The first minute of the show is us calling him to do our sound checks.  Then he calls us back during the show about 1/3rd of the way through to yell at us some more.  I guess a listener spoofed our number to him.  Here's a link to the show:

Today I decided to play an April Fools joke on him.  I called him and told him I was with Google and that we removed his number from the website.  And after awhile I let him know that it was a joke.  Here's that call:

I spoofed my number to come from one of my Google Voice numbers, which had a message on it that I was away from my desk.  I didn't expect him to pick up the phone so I was hoping he would call me back if I left a message.  He called me back a few minutes after our call anyway, though, and left a message for me.  Here's that:

Then he called back again and I picked up and talked to him some more.  I think he was recording the call and just trying to gather evidence for his huge multi-million dollar lawsuit that he's filing against Google.  Because secretly recorded phone calls are surely admissible in court.

Seems like when the stress of phone calls is giving you a heart attack, it's time to forget about the principle of the matter and just change your damn number.

Funny how different the reaction is from the reaction from the news story' "I'm so sorry but this isn't the courthouse."

I wonder if one of the hundreds of people who he gave his phone number to submitted that entry to Google. That would be surprising as he sounds like such an agreeable guy.

I just got a call from a Metro PCS phone in the same area code as that old man.  I didn't pick up, but I called back about an hour later and I'm pretty sure it was him.  WTF is he doing, giving me his cell number?  Did he finally break down and replace his home phone with a cell?

The funny thing is he could have easily fixed this months ago. If his number is listed as the phone number for the Google maps business he can do verify via phone. He would then have access to change hide or remove the listing.

I can totally see how this guy is harassing Google. He probably calls them repeatedly and threatens to have them arrested for harassing him.

After the show last night, he continued to call my Skype for at least 90 minutes until I turned it off.  Doesn't look like he left anymore messages though.
