Title: What should I do with my falsified ANI?
Post by: afreak on January 15, 2007, 09:21:10 PM: A nameless VoIP carrier has done the lovely job of screwing up my my CID to not show up. However, I learnt last night that my ANI is also falsified and redirects to an area that is non-existent.

Any thoughts to what hijinks that could be pulled off?

:) phiber optik told me that they "can send a nastygram to your ISP." a long time ago, but, i dont worry too much about it. I say if you really think it's untraceable then Social Engineer the biggest companies possible. oh, and record, and post it! ;)

i asked him for help with a 2600hz boxi had made, the plans showed a wrong connection in the 555 chip. exempli gratia vcc out pin 7 i think it was and it would work unless i put through to pin 6. He's one of the smartest people I've ever met online, and really nice too. :)

That's way cooler than anyone I've ever actually talked to (Even if it's just in IM). I did get an e-mail from Silicon Toad or Frog, I can't remember which it is. I was told to stop using their (hackers.com not LoD) server to send anonymous emails using telnet. How cool is that?
