I read most of it, but I'm wondering if you could do it with other chip sets. Raptor and I were thinking of doing this, but we aren't rich so has anyone heard of a way we could this ourselves.

You put the wrong title!
Cooking with processors is here:

The oil PC looks pimpin' though...

If vegetable oil isn't a conductor and doesn't harm the circuits, then you should be able to do this with anything. The noted hardware (cpu, gpu) are commercially available without big "OIL PROOF" stickers on them.
If you're going to try it out, definitely try it on an old rig first.

Yeah oil is nonconductive, I've seen it done plenty of times. The only problem is that it does rot, so you'll have to change it out every so often.
Other than that, you *should* be able to do it on any PC, but follow frog's advice by testing an old rig out first and getting comfortable with the quirks of oil.

I was thinking a fish tank, just because I don't feel like dropping $100 on a watertight case.
The fans still slowly turn to circulate the oil, but I was trying to come up with some creative ways to cool the oil, that does eventually reach temps of over 100 F.
how about pumping it through some tubes that run along radiators or something?
on the plus side, If I ever want some deep fried chicken while I'm playing Call of duty, I'm all set! ;)

You won't have to worry about refilling the oil if you sanitize the case and seal it (air tight) with nitrogen or carbon dioxide.

Just make your own heatsink out of pennies, make it into a square box, and cook some eggs.
