I just re-installed xchat and checked out #phonelosers on efnet. Pretty gay.

Does anyone use IRC anymore? Where does everyone else congregate?

Most everyone in my neighborhood uses it as well. They weren't even aware there were other systems when I mentioned I was using Trillian. One girl asked me why not just use MSN when I was explaining what IRC was.
