It's funny you mention it.  Brad filled me in yesterday afternoon:

jammie (1:48:11 PM): mrpeanut is mean
rbcp (1:48:38 PM): yep
rbcp (1:48:40 PM): i should ban him
jammie (1:48:55 PM): and make the ban reason WE'RE HAVING SEX RIGHT NOW
jammie (1:49:20 PM): and then unban him immediately

They just did a nod to it on the office, too.

I thought so. Weekend Update was and is often the best part of the show. Except when Dennis Miller was hosting. I've tried but I just can't find him funny. I don't mind dry humor. In fact I really like it. He just doesn't do it well. I think it's in his delivery. It's like he's trying to play the straight man but he just comes off as a douchebag. Kevin Nealon was awesome though. Then ame Norm McDonald who was funny as hell. Then they went to Collin Quin who could only be funny if he was burning alive and running around in circles while singing I Feel Pretty off-key dressed in a parka and a tu-tu. I haven't been watching much lately though. Apparently they have Poehler and Seth Meyers doing Weekend Update now.
