Title: Bluejacking

anyone do this? i dont think ive seen a post on it. for those that dont know- bluejacking is sending someone a message via bluetooth on your cell phone. www.bluejackq.com has lots of info on it.

basically, instead of writitng down a contacts name- write your message. save it. and when you want to bluejack someone, scroll to it, hit send, look for devices, and if someone is around you who leaft bluetooth on, then the message will pop up on there phone. ive been doing this for the past  year or so and its pretty funny sometimes.

my favorate messages i had are:
'virus 100% complete'
'the matrix has you'
'OMG HAX'
'OMGWTFBBQ!!!'

one of the best times was when i snet the virus one to some chick. she was looking at it and was all confused as hell. i also was at some motorcycle dealership and sent some dude looking at a bike 'show this msg for 20% off' or something like that. he looked at his phone and strated showing all his friends.

i figure someone here might like this.

interesting, ive always had fun with taking files off of peoples razrs because they dont feel like hitting "connect" to use their headsets...ill have to try this out!

what phone do you use to do this?

i have a motorola v551. its old ans sucks, but any phone with bluetooth should be able to do this. and ya, its real fun, especially if you can see your victim.

does this only work with cell phones of does it work on all bluetooth devices, my macbook has built in Bluetooth and that would be awsome to walk around or sit in a park and just mess with people that are on thier cell phones.

it would work on your computer too. im almost 100% sure. you can jack anything. this one teacher next door was using bt to run her projector. i jacked it but i dont know if anything happeded. like i said www.bluejackq.com has tons of info. i think there are also programs you can get that automatically bluejack for you.

That's awesome. I'm going to try that! That could provide hours of amusement when you're stuck sitting around train stations, airports on the el or in doctor's office waiting rooms.

How do you do that thing with the RAZRs? Hit "connect"? I don't get it...
