Alrighty......I wish to have some fun with the local fast food drive thru's and I need help knwoing what hardware I need.

I would like this to be a simple a possible...But...I am able to rebuild a radio if needed.....but.....I would like the easiest route...and....I would like the unit to be handheld and portable.....

I would like a new laptop, preferably HP.  But ill take anything.  I need an oil change, and my car cleaned out, dont foget the windows.
Also, if its not asking too much, I need a grilled ham and cheese on rye.  THANKS!

You'll have to do what everyone else does... get a job at the place and steal a headset.

yeah you know I distinctly remember making a video of this where the radio I'm using in view pretty well. 

Though I somewhat disagree with you Mr. Doc, I think its much easier just to bribe some kid who already works there to get one of the headsets for you.  A couple 6 packs and maybe some cigs can get you pretty far.
