Title: Is frappr information cached?
Post by: mr_doc on September 06, 2007, 03:30:04 PM
At all? I don't know how to check besides submitting to one and waiting to see if it becomes searchable.

If so I think it would be easy to make a robot to submit to all the frappr pages (no captcha)

I don't think it is because frappr is a flash object when embedded into a site.  I've never used frappr, but it appears that the only search available is their own search option.

Google maps on the other hand uses a language called KML which is like XML, which allow for names, descriptions, etc, etc, that a robot will record for search engines.  And with that you can conduct an appropriate queried search by searching KML files.
