Title: OS X Tiger
Post by: trevelyn on November 23, 2007, 06:54:39 AM
Open a bin file that runs in Terminal.  Then change the Terminal window settings.  (make the font a different color, change the font, etc) Then set as default settings for Terminal.  Exit.

You have just ruined your Terminal program.  Each time you run it, it will simply run the bin file first.  And if it was a shitty one like mencoder from ffmpegX, then Terminal is dead, and zombified.

any ideas? (besides switching to a real OS that is)

hmm.. you could potentially just get a new terminal program.

I sometimes use http://iterm.sourceforge.net/ (http://iterm.sourceforge.net/). then from there you may be able to rm your terminal and reinstall.

Cool to see im not the only mac user around :D

Or you can just drop to a console by logging in as '>console' at the user name. It'll then just as for your user name and password at a different prompt.
