Title: Screwy English Words
Post by: gangals on January 22, 2008, 09:18:11 AM: I hate the words 'condoning' and 'befriended'.

They sound like they should mean the opposite of what they actually mean.

Not really. He just doesn't like the words. I can't talk about linguistics if he just doesn't like the words.
