Fourtunately I've never had to deal with hackers, viri, or any other internet nuisance, but I have a friend who thinks shes being hacked. I'm not sure what to ask her so many you guys can help me out with that too. Pretty much she trolls stickam and lurks around 4chan, which frankly I found hard to believe due to the rules of the internet, but I have proof. That's where she thinks she might gotten into all this trouble. She says its not a virus because she has scanned multiple times, of course this could mean nothing. The most peculiar thing is that when she opened up her iTunes there were five hundred plus songs there that she had not had before. Her youtube account was also hacked, this week I believe, but this could just be a coincedence. Can you guys help me out?

SHE? Since when are women allowed to use computers, anyway? Just tell her to send it to me and a man can put that machine to good use.
Does she use wifi? Does she use unsecured wifi? Is she on a shared network with anyone else?
If you check installed applications does she have any unfamiliar programs installed? After googling them, are any keyloggers or something similar?

Hackers aren't always a "nuisance."

where are the files? in her usr/My\ music/iTunes/iTunes\ Music/ folder only? or did iTunes do a scan and just add all the files from her drive? - If she is sharing a network, Yeah any shared files could be imported from other machines, but not automatically. also, if the network is shared, what Service pack is she using? or is it OS X? plus if someone was using the network it would be easy to see the YouTube passwd too.
If someone is not using the network, maybe she is going straight to the modem? no router? When that's the case you want to make sure you disable any exploitable services running.
I don't see how easy it would be to add music to the iTunes folder remotely... maybe someone in her house is screwing with her? Her youtube account was also hacked, this week I believe, but this could just be a coincedence. Can you guys help me out?
