Title: Goog411 works to Canada now
Post by: immabadspellor_ on March 12, 2008, 03:59:38 PM: Now when you call GOOG-411 you can look up Canadian listings. It seems my fears of calling GOOG-411 from Canada eventually being directed to a Canadian Goog411 are unfounded (based on the temporary query of "What city and province?" Goog was announcing!). Calling Goog from either country will yield listings in either country. Cool!

Yes, but now you can actually give Goog a city and province and it will find a listing in Canada where before it would either not recognise what you were saying or would say that the area wasn't covered yet.

I am embarrassed. I'm removing that thing now. I'm not sure if i should be pissed or just think it's funny, so i'll be both. I can't really describe my feelings right now. Half of me wants to laugh, and the other half wants to be pissed at myself. In other words, i got PWNED!!
