So to say if u live in an apartment it could be easier cause most PEDS are located near your aprtment area, and if the person lives near your apt like in the same section their tele. lines should be in the same PED as your. But if you live in a housing neighbor hood, it may be alot harder searching PEDS for the right connections, but if you have the drive then do it to it!!!

The above guy talked about doing it at the ped, but a lot of resi and business lines come from the pole via aerial drop. It's not like you would have access to the telco's phone switch do "semi-create". The easiest way I can see to do this is to build one of the TNs as an OPE in the switch and set up some sort of dual service.

I guess I dont really see the point of intentionally crossing a line though. That would just make it hard on someone else dealing with the ILEC to have it fixed by one of their fucktard field techs.
