Wow nice tutorial, I did this like 500 times and got pretty good at guessing the password and then I realized I was being a asshole so I stopped.

I found that often people didn't have a password setup, but if they did then sometimes they didn't change it and so the password would be the last 4 digits of their phone number.If that didn't work then it could be something stupid like 1234 because there are a lot of idiots out there. Also many people use personal stuff like the last 4 digits of their social security number or a birthday as their password.I can't seem to think of any other tips but if you call them up then maybe you can social engineer the password out of them.

Spoofcard still has the trial call thing I believe, you get 3 calls from each phone and 3 minutes each.

Thanks for the spoofcard tip, that'll save me a few bucks. Do they require personal information on registration? Or can it be anonymous?

Spoofcard is one of those services in which it dials you up, you answer and then it rings the other line.

Is there software for Skype that works like this? A software orange box?

(about spoofcard) good, that's what spooftel does as well. I wonder if it's domestic. US companies are slightly more bound by US laws than canadian ones are, and with everyone being considered a terrorist for sneezing near an airplane, let alone hacking, I'd be careful about using a US company...

I very much doubt that you could get skype to do anything like this, as the software that chooses and assigns a phone number for you over skype is probably on their servers.

My own mediocre attempt at humor has been highly amusing to myself. I use to do this :p
But every time I did it I got the password prompt, and I used phonegangster.com instead of spoofcard or that other one. Phonegangster lets you fill out an offer and get 5 minutes phree. :D
