Well um yea... I want to use this, but I have no idea how to. The people on their forums are assholes and call me a n00blet.

You are supposed to know how to use something the first time you download it. Don't you know that already?

Are you using it in Windows? Whats the problem exactly, you can't get it to run period? The Windows version of Aircrack is very poorly supported, there's a descent chance your card wont even work with the windows version.

That link tells you how to set up Aircrack-ng in Windows, you might need to google around for some of those files though. Once you've done everything in that guide you can navigate to C:\Aircrack-ng\bin and click to execute the specific programs you need. If Airosnort can't find your network device, it means your card isn't compatible with the Windows version.

I highly suggest Backtrack 3 beta. It has the Aircrack Suite pre-installed and there's a good chance BT3 will recognize your card. My wireless card won't work with Windows but BT3 identified my card immediatley.

I'm really not that stupid My own mediocre attempt at humor has been highly amusing to myself.. I just can't figure out how to work the commands and such.

well that text file should have helped you tremendously, the only thing thats changed since then i would say is Cowpatty 4.x now supports cracking wpa2 and aircrack-ng only needs half of a handshake rather that a 4 part.
