Title: Silent Service for NES v. Apple ][
Post by: Tenorclefninja on August 11, 2008, 05:06:04 PM
Just picked up Silent Service for NES for nostalgic reasons and that made me wonder if anyone else here has played this game for either apple][ or NES. I have had many a discussion with my friends regarding the game play of early computers v. that of 8bit consuls. Does anyone here play around with these old systems at all? If so which do you prefer?

I still play my NES pretty regularly. I try to hit the pawn shop every couple of weeks to see what games end up on the shelf. I've never played Silent Service on either system, but I'll probably check it out when I get home.

I really enjoy older systems. I play newer games, too, but there's a certain charm to the old gaming consoles and home computers. I just wish I could get my Odyssey working again.

Yeah I do the same thing, but I can never find the gold cased Zelda. V. disappointing.
