Sorry about the Pinocchio line. I felt it was appropriate.
Anyway, I have a question to ask. You know those "employee use only" phones in Walmart? Well, I wanted to know, do they just plug into a jack like regular phones? Because if they do, would it be possible to un-plug one, toss it somewhere, and hook a cordless phone in its place? That way, you could take the cordless phone with you into the bathroom or outside the store in your car and control the intercom from there.
Or am I missing something?

I believe something like this was brought up somewhere on the site before. However,i dont think that a cordless phone would have a good range for you to be outside of the store on it.

Yes, any kind of regular phone will work on Wal-Mart store phones. I've even seen cordless phones hooked up to them sometimes, but the handset is never there. I've thought about buying the same kind of cordless phone that they have on the post, then bringing my handset in and registering it with their base.

Do you have a link for that brand of phone?

Nah, I don't even remember which store location I saw it in.
