Title: Adventure games!
Post by: PoopskinTheLiar on June 06, 2009, 07:38:15 PM
Well, yeah. as you can tell from my Av and Sig, i LOVE the old MS-DOS (and otherwise) adventure games. My two favorites would be Monkey Island (LucasArts) and Space Quest (Sierra). Of course, Infocom's text adventures are cool too. (advice: the Hitchhiker's Guide game adaption is 360k of PAIN. Fun PAIN, but still PAIN.)

I dig deep on Space Quest and my lady fucking absolutely adores the King's Quest series.

Aside from that, Zork I-III are addictive. And all it is is N, N, NW, N, W, W, N, USE LANTERN, N, et cetera.

Text adventure games were pretty sweet but I really can't think of any aside from Zork that were pure text. And MUDs; those are different.

Did anybody else find the Space Quest easter egg in Kings Quest II? It was awesome.
