A friend of mine happened across an elevator phone today. One that actually allowed the people in the elevator to talk back. (A lot of them I've found in the past only allow monitoring.) So he caused quite a bit of commotion in this very busy elevator, eventually causing the police to arrive. He demanded that people in the elevator stop masturbating and said that he'd pooped in the elevator earlier in the day. So I called it up and started talking to people. And eventually my kids joined in on the fun. Below is a 10 minute clip of elevator fun. A lot of it is just waiting for people to arrive.

They finally turned off the elevator phone so it just rings now. My guess is that they'll change the number and then turn it back on. Then the fun will start again! Does anyone else have any good elevator numbers? Preferably that allow 2-way communication? I used to have the elevator numbers to the OCI building. Hmm, actually maybe I still have those...

That's the number for the Riviera hotel and casino in Las Vegas. During Defcon, someone figured out that you could access the phones in the elevators. They work in a kind of speaker phone setup, where you dial in and can talk and listen. You are also able to tell if the car is moving or not and the number of people in the car (little beeps let you know).
There are.....seven? six elevators? Well I forget the exact number, but a safe area to stay inside is in between 37 and 41. So when you call that number and it picks up, dial #9037 if you wanted to access car number 37. i.e. #9041 for car 41. It will transfer you around a little while, so have patience. You will also hear a really crazy beeping noise, like a retarded person dialing as many numbers as possible, then you are connected.
As I remember, this phones aren't really loud, but loud enough for you to hear. Yelling would be a good idea.

The hotel can be reached via 702-734-5110 too. Same prompts. If you don't like them getting your ANI. You can dial directly into rooms, too! For a 3 digit room number you dial #70xxx. And for a 4 digit room number you dial #7xxxx. There are 24 or 25 floors there, so room numbers can range from 100 something to 2400 or 2500. I just dial somewhere in the middle.
The other night I called room 2020 and told the guy in there I was at the front desk and wanted to verify that his wife could continue to charge all these quarters on his room. He freaked out, said his wife wasn't there, etc. I told him she'd already charged $600 in quarters to his room for the casino but we wouldn't allow her to do it this time. Also he'd be responsible for the $600 that was already charged. We argued. He said there was no way he was going to pay. I said he should have thought of that before he let this lady pretend to be his wife. Finally, very pissed, he said he was coming to the front desk to talk about this.
He'd given me his full name during the conversation so I called up the front desk and began yelling at the lady there, doing a pretty great imitation of the guy's voice. "This is _________ in room 2020! And I'm about to come down and knock someone's head off for all the problems I'm having in my room!" She pulled up my account and gave the phone to another lady. I made all kinds of horrible threats to this lady. She responded with, "Mr. ________ we have security right here and you need to calm down!" I yelled at her something along the lines of, "FUCK CALMING DOWN, I'VE HAD IT WITH THIS PLACE! I'LL BE RIGHT DOWN SO YOU BE WAITING FOR ME!"
I would have loved to see how things progressed once he got down there. All I know is that he was down there for a long time and the front desk wouldn't give me any information about what happened. The guy never answered ihis phone again for the rest of his stay. And attempts to SE his cell phone from the front desk failed. Ahh, good times...
