A couple months ago Spessa convinced me that I really need to watch Flight of the Conchords.  So I downloaded both seasons from bittorrent and watched them all within a few days.  They rule and everyone else should like them too.  I'm going to make that a new requirement for using the forums, that you have to <3 FoTC.

They're kind of like the old Tenacious D show that used to be on cable.  Two guys play music and are trying to make it big while having wacky misadventures and singing lots of funny songs.  Here are a few of their songs.

i'd say FotC is way better than Tenacious D, though I do like both.

In my opinion, Tenacious D only has a couple of really great songs.  The rest are shit.  FoTC has many more good ones to choose from.  It's too bad they probably won't make any more episodes.  At least they'll probably continue to do live shows since they won't be busy making multi-million dollar movies.

By the way, that's what Tenacious D did. I don't know if they still tour or not but they did do live shows.
