im kinda pissed, i just came from 7-11 to buy a dr.pepper and pack of over taxed cigarettes.. when i picked up the bottle of dr.pepper it did not feel right, it felt kind of small, so looking at the label i saw that it said 16oz.. i was like WTF it supposed to be 20oz, and told the guy d00d i want a 20oz bottle, when he pointed out to me that the coca-cola also was not 16oz.... so i ended up getting a cherry pepsi... im off to find the contact info for the CEO of coca-cola now, cause thats how i resolve all my disputes now, by going straight to the CEO - fuck all the low level employees...
i have had the CEO of best buy email me back - and he had the manager of my local best buy call me... i have had the office of the CEO of bank of america call me back... so, so far dealing directly with CEO's has worked for me...
here is the bio page for the CEO of coca-cola

Companies are shrinking everything like this these days. Sometimes just by tenths of ounces so they can save a few cents. When it's just an ounce or two on a shampoo bottle or a bag of chips, we don't even notice. Check out all these posts on the subject:
http://consumerist.com/cgi-bin/mt/mt-search.cgi?IncludeBlogs=1&limit=20&search=shrink+ray (http://consumerist.com/cgi-bin/mt/mt-search.cgi?IncludeBlogs=1&limit=20&search=shrink+ray)
I had all these coupons for "buy 1 get 1 free" packs of M&Ms that I was using at 7-Eleven. Since there were 2 sizes of M&Ms next to each other, I would glance at the ounces to make sure I was picking up the right ones. I think originally, when I first started using the coupons, they were 1.80 ounces, but one day they started being 1.63 ounces. The coupons still worked on the smaller sizes (I bet the barcodes weren't even changed) and you can't tell that there's any difference. They're just stealing an M&M or two from every pack I buy now. It's the new way of raising prices without actually raising prices.
By the way, WHEN I WAS A BOY ( *shakes cane* ) all convenience stores had a choice between 16oz bottles and 20oz bottles of soda. Some even had 8oz bottles. 1 liter bottles were unheard of. And they were all glass. As 20oz bottles became more popular, they all phased out the 16oz bottles. Guess they're making a comeback so they can steal some ounces from us. I haven't noticed any 16oz bottles anywhere yet, but I rarely buy soda.

Have you ever considered drinking water? I hear it isn't all that bad.

yea, i normally drink ice-t or water, but i just felt like getting a soda... actually drinking a bottle of water right now... but someone on binrev pointed out that even poland spring is doing the same thing only worse, reducing the size and charging more....
at least i saw that snapple is doing the right thing, i noticed in the store earlier today that they are packaging snapple in cans now for 79c i guess to compete with arizona for 99c (did not get a chance to see how large the cans are)

Bottled water is kind of a scam at any price. It's not even filtered. They can only claim that because the water that comes out of their spout is filtered by the water company. Refill your bottles forever!

I only drink bottled holy water that is personally blessed by a minister of the Universal Life Church. Cause, you know, that just how I roll. All blinged-out and shit.

$1.00 or $1.50 2 liters of name brand soda are the way to go. Stores usually have one or the other on sale, just not at the same time. When I'm out and about (Who I am kidding? I'm never out and about), I drink water refilling the bottle in water fountains. Just to stick it to teh man!
Also, why buy soda when you can MAKE YOUR OWN? http://www.sodastreamusa.com/ :nonsense: :nonsense: :nonsense:

Yeah, but that minister is just your brother. So shut up, that doesn't count.

You should change my quote in your sig to "Except for murd0c. He's a dick."
Also, my store has no 16oz soda's and only a minimal number of cans. It's one little shelf with like four kinds of soda. Remember when stores used to have all kinds of things in cans that weren't Red Bull or other energy drinks?
