Has anyone on here worked in fast food before? How's the interview go for being a crew member? I have to assume it's somewhat easy to get since high school kids can do it. I just really want to make sure I get this job.

Worked at McDonald's for two months. The entire time I worked there, I worked no more than 16 days combined. It was hardly worth my gas money to go to work and go back home.
On the plus side I think Jack in the Box still actually gives free food to employees. McDonald's only gave you a single cheese burger off the dollar menu. And god forbid you made it yourself while you were on break.

I've avoided food service my entire life. Why throw Big Macs at people for $6/hour when you could work in an air conditioned store/gas station/office building? Sure, all work sucks, but do you really want to work in a Jack in the Box?

I rarely lasted more than a week or two at fast food. I mostly got hired at places like that just to pay the bills before I got my dream job at Circle K or 7-Eleven.

Don't do it for long bro. Food service is terrible. You'd seriously be better off at a gas station.

Worked at a gas station that had a deli in it for a year and a half before being fired for telling a customer he was a dumb ass for falling in the movie theater parking lot and blaming us for it.
Gas station work is cake easy. Especially at night. That's when you can stock up on drinks and eat all the food you want. For free.

So how does one get work at a gas station? I know the chain stores, but I want to work for something smaller. But something that's still open overnight. Like a Circle K.

1. Go to Circle K
2. Ask for application and fill it out.
3. Return application.
4. ?????
5. PROFIT!
