man, i used to love toneloc back in the day... ahhh, memories :'(

707-374-0023 gave me a DA oper who could only look up numbers in California.
-
Yea, I meant to post 411 op. They think your on a payphone, but if you call back once or twice, they can get you a number out of state
-
That 411 number is awesome. I just argued with a lady for about 2 minutes, insisting that it's okay to give me a number in Roy, New Mexico.
The loops are confusing. I think they are loops, but where is the other end of them? When I call any of those, I get a long beep and then silence. If I call one of the loop numbers while I'm sitting on another silent loop number, I get the long beep and then a fast busy signal. Same thing if I call the same loop number that I'm already listening on. So they all seem to be interacting with each other, sort of, but I can't hear myself on them.
-
I wonder if the 411 op can receive collect calls.....?
-
That 411 line proved to be quite amusing during last night's Phone Show. I called this evening: "We are experiencing higher than normal call volume. Please remain on the line for the next available operator or try again later."
-
Are there any wardialing programs that can be used with Google Voice?
Edit: I guess they put a fake ring over unsupervised calls o probably not the best option.
-
If your using an actual modem, just type: 5553330000,,2,,999444XXXX#, when 999444XXXX is the prefix and 5553330000 is your GV Number.
-
ya.. but as previously mentioned - gv puts a fake ring over numbers until supervision, so it is not the best method of scanning since you miss out on all kinds of interesting stuff..
