Title: urgent sql help!
Post by: . on October 19, 2006, 11:39:36 PM
Gents:

I'm about to get my ass inside a new company and they are asking me for SQL knowledge, the problem is that I always worked with other stuff such us routers, Proxies, etc, and I'm a bit rusty with this SQL shit.
So if any and I mean ANY of you know about where to get good info about the queries and commands I will be more than grateful.

Thanks beforehands,

I'm pretty sure that guy that posts as "John Kerry" knows a lot about SQL.

I hear the internet is a good place to start learning!

If you've got $20 to blow, get yourself a domain and a couple months of hosting with Godaddy.com.  Then you can set up sql stuff and experiment with it.

I know that the Internet is an awesome place to learn and I'm doing it right now, but I was looking for some book or some site that can help me to catch up basically on launching queries.
Thanks for the advice tho...

I know this is sort of random, but did you know that the Australian bird's name, the kookaburra, means "laughing jackass"? Just wanted to share that.

Why your nik is not kookaburra then?? My own mediocre attempt at humor has been highly amusing to myself. just kidding
