I just found out the Lowe's Paging Extension is #35, at least in California
-
I'll have to try that one out.
Here's a list I've developed of paging extensions. Some probably aren't universal, but here they are:
BEST BUY: 60
DICK'S SPORTING GOODS: page shortcut key, or *60 or *60 or *70
DILLARD'S: 71 or 72
FRED MEYER: 1810
HOME DEPOT1: 676#
HOME DEPOT2: Dial 7, enter zone code 000, record message after beep & hangup to play
JCPENNY: 92, speaker button
KMART: feature 630
MACY'S: #63 or 4304 or 3226
MEIJER: *179
OFFICE DEPOT: feature 630
SEARS: 80
STAPLES: feature 630 or page shortcut key
TARGET: 52#
WALGREENS: feature 630 or page shortcut key
WALMART: #96 or #03

TARGET: 52#
Where'd you get this Target information from? I've always thought Target's phone system and paging systems were separate. All the Targets today still have those old-fashioned broadcast mics at the return desk and the fitting rooms. Are you saying you can go to any red phone and dial 52# to get on the intercom? That would be kind of awesome since I have my own cordless extension phone to a nearby Target.

I read 52# in various sources on the internet, including only Youtube comments (http://tinyurl.com/7fwzony) and comments on the PLA website (http://www.phonelosers.org/article/storephones/). I actually first stumbled upon the PLA by KGB sourcing it (http://www.kgbanswers.com/what-is-the-number-you-dial-to-acsess-the-intercom-at-target/10383097) in a question about Target's paging extension.
I've never actually gotten it to work myself, trying it only on the red courtesy phones, but I'm assuming that these probably don't have the ability anyway. If the code even does work, I'm guessing it only works through the "big phones" in the fitting room, electronics department, pharmacy, and front desk. In the store once I tried a long-shot of calling with my cell phone & getting transferred by the fitting room to the extension, but both times nothing happened after being transferred.

Winn-Dixie: 700 or push the button on the Airphone if the store has those.
