Check this out.
It's a call to tech support from a guy in the US who visited Canada and used their data service. He's been billed $.2 per kilobyte, when their advertised rate is .002¢ per kilobyte. He tries to explain this to the supervisor on the customer support line, but the dicktard doesn't seem to get basic decimal math.

I cant believe that noone there got what he was saying. I called Andrea and left her a message. I told her that if she was a good girl, santa might just bring her a math book for christmas.

Yeah, when I posted this I was only a few minutes into it. I can't believe he got 2 supervisors on the phone and neither of them could comprehend what he was saying.
It's only basic math. We learned that shit in like 4th grade!

Incompetent customer service from a phone company?? I've never heard of such an atrocity. ::)

Well, it appears that using the Internet to put pressure on the huge corporation is a worthwhile tactic after all;
Verizon admits their mistake, and the guy is getting a refund for the difference:

Guess what d00ds I've been doing some research and it looks like Verizon has call centres here, yup in South phreakin America :o, they have all the sales departments here, still looking about the tech support but I'm sure they have some here as well.
Well I just thought it was a good piece of info.
About the billing, well the guy got scammed and he was the only one callingl; that was why nobody got any call centre sorry excuse.
BTW the "Canadian" did get the point but he wasn't allowed to admit the truth, it how it works boyos.
