Title: Let's trade stuff
Post by: rbcp on May 27, 2007, 09:03:18 PM
Last week Trevelyn sent me a box full of really cool stuff.  Like Pez, a Fon router, a cell phone telephone handset, a Verizon pay phone card, magnetic stripe cards, a Rolex watch, some PA lotto tickets, a securty badge and whistle, a USB keyboard adapter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on DVD, TMNT window decals, a Nokia ball, and other stuff that I'm forgetting.  It's cool getting weird random stuff in the mail.

Since I'm not much of a watch person, I'm sending the Rolex to murd0c so it'll get some good use instead of just sitting in a drawer forever at my house.  So I was thinking maybe I should get rid of some of MY useless stuff.  Maybe we all should.  Let's trade useless crap with each other!  A quick sweep of my office found the following items:

I might consider trading these items if someone has something good to trade for them.  I can probably find some more junk around here too.  Everyone list your useless crap!

Sure!  My kids would probably like that one.  By the way, one of these lottery tickets is a $7 winner.  Since I'm betting Oregon won't let me cash it in here, I'm going to mail it back to you.  That'll pay for you to ship me stuff!

Their are only a few problems with it, the battery cannot hold a charge for over a day, the click wheel cord that connects it to the main chip is slightly damaged, and the hd is broken but fixable because I replaced it with the battery still in, and their is some case damage.

Any computer parts (pc case or motherboard preferred), guitar stuff, or mp3 players just to give ideas. I'll trade anything really but those are just ideas. Just list things you think would be worth trading for the ipod.

Should I make a buy/sell/trade board?  We could each make our own thread, listing the stuff we have and the stuff we want.  Or is this thread sufficient?

I say a board. It'll make things more organized by individual and it'll be easier for the person to update their lists as opposed to reading back via a long thread.

I second the idea, it would just make stuff easier because this thread is getting lengthy, and it sucks to have to try to remember what page something was on.
