Title: Light Linux Distro for Laptop?
Post by: ataxicwolf on March 14, 2008, 03:02:48 PM
So I'm looking to install a Linux distro on this old Laptop that my friend gave me. I was planning on installing Ubuntu, but the laptop couldn't even seem to handle the graphical installation. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good, hard-drive based, light, Linux distro. Any suggestions?

I don't know if you tried this yet, but XUbuntu. It's Ubuntu designed for older machines, let me know if that works.
