Just finished reading the first issue and I think it'll live up to the hype. I guess I just never took the time to track it down until now. So far it's given me the feeling of being Animal Man esq in that it's a normal guy who happens to have super powers, well I felt that way for act 3, by by the time that the first issue concluded I felt entirely different about the direction it was going to take. With Allan Moore and later Neil Gaiman writing it's hard to go wrong I'll keep you posted.
