Tapping and Recording Telephone Calls

Here is an alterntitive way to record phone calls.  I don't know if anybody has mentioned it yet but if you are to poor for tape recorder or a scanner you can always call your cell phone, then once voicemail picks up three way call your target.  I know my sprint phone gives you over a half hour of recording time. 
Then when you finish the call hook your phone up to the computer and upload your voice messages to the computer.  I don't know if all phones can connect to the computer but I know that the A900 Samsung can.

You can also do this to conventional answering machines but most of them have a time limit, like 30 seconds or so.  So I recomend the voicemail trick.

Ok, heres an elaborate way to do it.

1.) Get a phone...



2.) Crack it open...



3.) Get a cheep mic from somewhere...



4.) Rip it apart and get the mic out...



4.) Place inside earpiece with mic faceing earpiece...



5.) Place ear piece back in snuggly, you my have to carve out a nich for the wire to run out of the handsets caseing...




Finnished? Awesome. You might want to get a soldering iron, the wires on my mic tend to come loose sometimes.
