I don't understand how people can get lost. You are only going one direction while on a road, if you're going the wrong way, simply turn around and go the other way. Between my Rand McNally 2002 road atlas and my insane knowledge of roads in the midwest and northeast, who needs a fucking GPS to get across town? Just wait until they're standard equipment on cars.

Could have used a GPS when I got lost going from South Amboy to Allentown and ended up in Newark looking for I-78. But I think that's the only time.

My Blackberry has built-in GPS and Google Maps.  It makes people think I'm texting while I'm driving down the interstate.

You know what I use to navigate? My testicles. My male intuition combined with basic map reading skills + directions to unfamiliar locations allows me to find anything I need GPS free. And, if I can't find it, I usually end up somewhere cool anyway.

I generally rely on maps because regardless of how wholesome of a destination i start out for, if i rely on my testicles to guide me i end up in an area full of prOn shops and hookers.

Not necessarily a bad thing but difficult to explain to the passengers in the car.
