If I was going to make that chainsaw I'd probably just hollow out an old one and keep an identical model to fire up for shots of it actually running (I think that's what they did in Evil Dead most of the time).

Yeah. It would definately be hard to hold up a working chainsaw with one arm unless you were buff as hell.
