Pinellas Park -- Detectives are investigating a deadly explosion at a business on Park Boulevard.

The explosion occurred at Rapid Roy's Small Engine Repair Shop just before midnight on Saturday, shutting down Park Boulevard between Belcher Road and 66th Street until 8 a.m.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says a body was pulled from the rubble but an identification has not yet been made.

Detectives say the blast and subsequent fire spread debris up to a mile from the scene, causing damage to other businesses and also a nearby home.
