New voice bridge number - 218-339-8070

Since this voice bridge company is changing their number again, I'm moving us to a new place.  The number is 218-339-8070 and there is no extension number.  Hopefully this works out for awhile.  Not that we use these antiquated phone number things anymore, since everyone is on Skype.  But just in case you're too poor to own Skype, there's a phone number to use.

Hopefully it won't suffer the wrath of tr0n, now that he's a free man.

Oh yeah, you can call this number for free via GOOG411.  Call 1-800-GOOG-411 and ask it to connect you to Max Wellhouse on Sir Barton Way in Lexington, Kentucky. This will connect you to the bridge.

What are some other voice bridge numbers?  We need to have some official fallback numbers for when the main bridge has a billion Craigslist people on it or when it's getting toned or goes down due to snow.  Like maybe a list of 4 or 5 different bridge numbers all from different carriers that you can dial when 218-339-8070 is unusable.

And not the one that gives LordNod all our phone numbers!

Our old 641-678-3404 still works, so I'm going to make that bridge #2.  Wasn't that line supposed to get turned off?  Whatever happened to that?  Damn me for even switching numbers if they weren't really turning it off.

The old bridge you had to use extensions (rooms) which was limiting, drops-in are the way to go imo. The old bridge is found down at times, I think its stability is questionable now.

I have a list of drop-ins i need to locate, see which are still working...

BTW: The 218 bridge #s cant be "toned", that audio band for the DTMF appears to be filtered out. Although you CAN still use the DTMF tones for menus. Best of both worlds there. They also don't have bullshit bridge options assigned to the DTMFs so you CAN actually use them for menu systems. Bonus.

I like the numbers were you don't have to dial an extension to get in.  But the extensions are nice too sometimes.  It'd been good to have a choice of both.

Hay, I am always on a phone. Either on one of my home phones or GOOG-411 on a Payphone.

I will use said numbers though it is going to be a pain to program in. -,-;

I might just use one main number and then make a note for the others.
