The article itself is weird how it's obviously spliced into Wikipedia... I thought this was someone making a claim.  I didn't know if MF was completely dead; they act like it's impossible.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but electromechanical switching is used in only a few parts of the US, none of which I'll be dropping here. Yeah, yeah, it's a sad thing to see go, but what are 'ya gonna do? Telephony is still fun.
