Billing calls to someone else
« on: September 03, 2010, 06:13:00 PM »
Is it worth using this on someone i don`t like?
   http://www.phonelosers.com/index.php?topic=4955.0
If it was found, could it be traced back to me?
Since any calls i make are billed and traced to my victim`s line
and cost me nothing, is it worth using this?

not completely sure that it will work for 2 way communication... how do you plan on setting up the 2 way radio at the NID to transmit? if you can overcome that hurdle, it still would not be full duplex, unless you used 2 radios on different channels, one for TX and one for RX...

i am sure that this would violate at least 2 laws - theft of a telecommunications service, as well as something for using the 2 way radio in this method, since the best way to do something like this would be on a licensed radio band... and then there is the purpose which you plan on using this, which may result with a 3rd charge of harassment, fraud, or something else... oh.. i forgot to mention, felony wiretap, since basically you would be able to remotely monitor any telephone conversations on the line...

i would recommend against doing something like this... would be a nice project to build for a proof of concept on a phone line that you are authorized to do so with (your own line, or a friend who allows you to test it on their line)

but i think that i am not speaking in the true tone of this board... what i meant to say was... sure do it, and then shoot up heroine and then your school...

=)

If you're just looking for free calls, there's a lot safer and cheaper ways to do it.  Like Gmail, who just started offering free calls to the U.S. and Canada last week.  Even a Skype subscription would be cheaper than buying walkie talkies and reed switches and risking arrest.  And when they find all this weird equipment on their line, the cops would probably have your fingerprints all over it.

I think that although your walkie talkie idea is very cool, it's not really worth the risk since you're only getting something that's free anyway.  If you're wanting to make anonymous calls, use Spoofcard or figure out a way to make free calls from pay phones.

Wouldn't it just be easier to use a cordless phone as your beige box and connect it to the TNI box on the outside wall of the victims house? On that note.... could you possibly do this on a pay phone line by hacking into the armored cable, attaching your cordless beige box there and then red boxing the tones in since the payphone's handset is muted until you put in money? I know red boxing is dead but it might be worth a shot.
This statement is a LIE ---->   <---- This statement is TRUE ... Im SO confused.

no need to redbox if you do this with a COCOT since they use POTS lines...

Ok then, if that would work then you could cordless beige box the pay phone line, make hundreds of calls, Then...secretly plant the cordless handset at the victims house, preferably in a charger that would leave the phone off-hook while charging, so the authorities can trace the radio transmission back to the victims house and confront him about the whole thing. My own mediocre attempt at humor has been highly amusing to myself. :D
