PLA Media Pack 2010
« on: September 06, 2010, 10:51:20 AM »
I just created the 2010 PLA Media Pack torrent.  It's double the size of the one I did last year, mostly because of The Phone Show taking up tons of space.  Here's the URL for it:

http://www.phonelosers.org/stuff/phonelosersofamerica2010.torrent

I usually end up doing stupid things when creating torrents, like last year when I didn't put any trackers in it, so let me know if I screwed anything up.

I also just created a torrent of all the prank call albums that I have.  It's here:

You put a bunch of non-public trackers in, so they're just getting in the way. For example Demonoid is (kinda) private and won't track just any torrent. Also you put a lot of dead trackers (like The Pirate Bay, who shut down their tracker a while back). You would have been fine with just openbittorrent.org. But none of these are issues that prevent anyone from downloading the torrent, so all will be well.

Dump Frostwire, try a dedicated torrent client like µTorrent. Regular clients should have DHT (distributed hash table) which will get some seed without needing the tracker.
