stupid question

if verizon wireless is a non-union company, and is not wholely owned by verizon communications why are there striking workers picketing both of the verizon wireless stores that i passed this week? are they lost? stupid? confused?

I saw Verizon workers picketing my local Criket store. I guess if there isn't a Verizon FIOS and/or Wireless store, they just picket where ever.

Hmmm.....workers on strike = unattended telco vans = a lot of goodies inside...Nah too risky.

Ahem I was just thinking out loud.

Why are they picketing in front of places not owned by Verizon?
