I know most of us prolly don't even notice the l33t points anymore but since they are there I have an idea. Everyone let us give RBCP l33t points until he has 1337 points. I know he could just change his stats but it will be more fun this way.

Also please feel free to give me l33t points for the awesome idea

I've given you a 1337 point.  I see right through your plan, trying to up your 1337 status.  I don't think I'll make it to 1337 anytime soon since these forums are so dead.

I wonder where everyone went. I mean there used to be tons of people here. Alt, rogue, nod... I see aphreak every now and then. And the younger peeps like royal green hippo and vixen (although I do keep up with Vixen on Facebook). Maybe that's what happened. Everyone went to Facebook and I didn't know their full names to follow.

And I miss the conference lines too.

And when yahoo messenger was our goto chat.

And walking uphill to school both ways in the cold rain and snow.

Forums in general are a dead scene these days.. there's still some big ones, but those tend to be the ones that were hugely popular and had a very large community built when facebook showed up

I guess maybe I should make a "real" facebook account.. I generally can't stand the constant flow of stupidity/whiny victim mentality/etc, which is why I deleted my last real one a long time ago

Yeah, I Facebook nonstop all day and I spend maybe 5 minutes tops on the PLA forums.  There's tons of PLA people on Facebook, mixed with my real life friends.

Markov, stupid people are easy to deal with on Facebook.  You either defriend them, click the "don't show updates from this person ever again" link, or be a huge asshole to them until they delete you.

+1 l33t to Arby for reminding me that I can stop all updates from the one excessive posting chick on my friend's list. I mean - seriously - she status updates every five minutes all day and maybe one in a hundred is a gem.  . . Or serves to introduce me to one of her hot friends.

Maybe I need to get more into Facebook. It must be a good thing if Arby is into it. Also if you know of any good bridges that need jumping off of I am game.

*EDIT Just noticed that my phone's spellcheck was changing "Arby" into "Arbutus" but hey, that's like an Arby-Cactus. I just gave you a new name!!!
