Hello all! Long time lurker here. I recently remembered that taco bell takeover prank video, where they were messing with a radio to talk to the workers and customers from the speaker box. I don't intend to harass, I'm only trying to figure out how to do it for a creative way to ask my girlfriend to get married in a way she wouldn't expect at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyLrus1yKvI

But I've read quite a few contradictions about how to do this (or if it's even possible anymore), and different methods and specifications for doing it. The first video I found explained the method using the crystal thing to mod a CB radio. Some others I've seen only talk about needing to use a Ham radio and not CB. But the guide in that video I linked says you have to use a cb radio, not a ham radio? And I have no idea what the abbrivations mean at all, example:   Yaesu

"Once you find the frequency, you would need a VHF or UHF radio capable of utilizing CTCSS and PL tone. You would need to find the correct CTCSS or PL tone"? I've also read about using different hardware to do it, like Yaesu VX-7R (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQv_w3vdCZM) or Baofeng (http://litbimg8.rightinthebox.com/images/384x384/201606/usebtp1465773834560.jpg).

I have no idea what to make of all that information haha
