420 and other nicknames

So I just read the post about 420, and someone said that the number comes from a high school club. I don't believe that because I've heard about a hundred explanations for 420 including that one. People are always making up random ad-hoc nicknames for pot and I think that 420 is just one of them.

So here's the question: What nicknames do you use with your friends and coworkers?

Where I work it is "sunglasses", as in "I'm putting on my sunglasses as soon as I get out of here". With some of my friends it's "oreos".

Back in the day in my hood we used to call it weed.  We were all like, "Let's get some weed, man!" and "You wanna smoke some weed?"  It was so hardcore.

Well obviously the nicknames are for situations where some stealth is required, like at work, bible study group, grandma's funeral, AA meeting, etc.

I heard that too, but I read an article once where they couldn't find any record of it.
