Does that imply that someone fixed it?  As in, someone is troubleshooting code on old cal's for some reason?

I don't think it was bad code.  It seems like his webserver forgot what a .php file was and was just displaying it all as plain text.  A setting just needed to be changed somewhere is my guess.  I'm happy it's fixed.  I refer back to old Cal's often for reference.

The date and time are still perpetually 0-1/31/00 at 22:00:00
meaning that whatever you post will never show up as new and any new posts you make go to the end of the pile.

Cal took forever/never to confirm new users back when it was still running so I wouldn't expect it to happen too quickly on there now.  The point of the old Cal's archive is just to have all the old posts still available.  I doubt he wants people posting there still.  That's what Cal's Content Kingdom is for.  Or was, before he left the planet.

ZOMG! I'm logged into old school Cal's right now! It let's me edit my posts but doesn't display the changes. My guess is that it's a negative on cal wanting us to post on the old school forum then. I can still vote on polls though.
