Hidden Users

Every once in a while I notice something that says (1 user hidden) on the main page.  What is that?  Yes I know that the user is hidden, but I never noticed anything in my profile about be hidden.

Under "account related settings" there's a checkbox for "Show others your online status?"  If you uncheck that then you'll become a hidden user.
