NWBell from PLA Minnesota managed to gain access to a large outdoor sign and put all kinds of amusing messages for passerby to see. Click here to see the rest of the messages

wowee!

have you ever seen the roadside signs that the state puts up warning about a bridge being out, or to slow down?
they seem like they would be pretty easy to gain access to aswell, (considering they are not padlocked)

any one have any expirience with those?

Zug just did a thing on those signs a couple months ago.  It's easier than you think.  Here's a link:

Did you happen to notice the sign manufacturer's name?

That might make a great 2600 article.

yeah, I wrote that as kind of a responce to the zug article, which I read before this one on PLA came out. Most DPW people or whatever probably dont expect morons/hax0rz to try to break in.  I mean, WHO really cares that all traffic must turn left!

No, not really. It was quite unique, and long, and was not being broadcast. That particular sign was made by Signtronix, but that's not a common brand (at least not around here).

Good to see you again, mgrossa! What ever happend to countykid and his childrens' book? I was almost done laying it out for him when Cal's became CCK...
I am an internet haxor. I haxor the internet. It's a pretty good job, million a year plus bennies. So, yeah.
