How danergous exactly is this stuff?
I'm not looking for what you read on the internet or anything like that. I would like cold, hard experience-based warnings. And what nesscessary precautions should be taken to prevent any personal injuries?

Am I to infer you know who stole it and you are going to thermite something of theirs in retaliation? You would easily go to jail until you are 18 if you get caught using thermite. Destroy their house/car/dog the old fashioned way and you risk a lot less.

Thermite is not harmful.  So long as you have a cup or two full of ice nearby, you'll be fine.  If you injure yourself, it just wasn't meant to be.
