*67 will not block *57.  And to actually do anything with your *57ing, you usually need to file a report with the police.  If you want to know if *57 works in your area, dial it and see what happens.  It might charge you $1.00 but that's the price you pay for knowledge.

UMG I just said that * is a Google dork, and star 57 comes up with laws. So anyways I found out that if I get a harassing phone call, I hang up and pick the phone up and hit *57, then follow the instructions. It's bullshit because it has to happen 3 times for each unique harassing person before the phone company can do shit.

When I lived in Ohio (GTE) I got busted with *57 for just one single phone call.  It was for a call I made to a local resident, talking them out of their credit card number.  It may have just been a matter of it being a small town with a local victim, so the police ask the phone company for the info and they get it.  I rarely prank locally anymore.
